Pass Plus is a training
scheme that takes your driving beyond the test, it is modular, without a formal
test, your achievement of the standard required is assessed by the instructor.
The minimum training time is 6 hours, one hour for each of the modules. Tuition
can be practical, or by discussion (it's difficult to experience driving in
snow).
Pass Plusand motor insurance
When you successfully
complete Pass Plus you will usually qualify for a
substantial discount on your motor insurance policy. Motor insurers who support
the scheme offer discounts on
comprehensive
third party fire and theft
third party insurance policies.
The insurers currently
taking part in Pass Plus will offer you a
discount. The saving could more than cover the cost of training. A list of participating insurers can be found here.
